stuck

this song reminds me of super meatboy. for some odd reason. i wanted to harken back to the electronic music industry grew up on, with weird sounds that almost felt like the grinders of that game. i wrote this song when i felt very trapped in life, and poetically ended up trapping myself further. i think i have a tendency to brute force myself through spiritual battles, but it ends up creating some really good songs. lol

it's one of the weirder tracks, but lyrically it's somewhat straightforward. the beginning is me detailing i think my overawareness of how my mind works. sort of a response to curious cat, and a comment on the last two tracks. it started out as something that made me feel like i could understand the world, but ironically almost made me feel trapped, like i could sense too many timelines. too many possibilties. knowing where to go becomes tough when every choice feels like its consequences could ripple across time.
