fed up (feat. alfredo tallahassee)

i wanted to start this album with something that dissuaded away any listeners not open to weird and wacky sounds. i've started many albums with the most melodic or fun songs in the past to draw people in, but this time i felt it would be nice to throw you in the deep end right away. i wanted it to sound like an adult swim flying lotus esque beat, a deconstruction of music, but also a conceptual theme for the album. this is a song about feeling like you're fed up with the status quo, whether that be yourself, or the entire world. both me and Cass talk about finding one's own way in a confusing and overwhelming world.

also i may have gotten some of cass's lyrics wrong. i think i did. when he lets me know i'll issue a retraction.
