this song was an impulse, with a beat i created when i was 17 for my socks and sandals album. i always loved the avant-garde feeling to the beat, and wanted to emulate some of my favorite rappers who use this style. i felt that it translated well to the subject matter, with references to the fact that i wrote this at 3:53 am during my mixing/mastering session of MEANIE/THE MEANEST, my last major project. this is essentially a loneliness anthem, but also a thought explosion that puts words that circle around my thought process into an audible stream of consciousness.
