circle (reprise)

this song is a remake of an older song i made, called circle. it was the intro song to my socks and sandals album from 2022. i honestly don't feel like that project is much of an album, more of a mixtape. and i wasn't super happy with how it came out at the time. it was an extremely jumbled and rushed time of my life, which is evident in how it sounds. it's practically unlistenable at times. however, this song always stood above the rest in its lyrics, the atmosphere, and what it meant to me and my life. so i wanted to bring it back.

this is my part of my philosophy on life, with the lyrics meaning more as my life continues. i wrote this originally feeling like i just wanted to write sad metaphors about my life, but as the years go by, those metaphors become reality, and seem more like they were messages from a deeper version of myself, calling to be let out. it might be a bit of a downer, but sometimes we gotta let ourselves be completely down to know what it's like to be up. i make music to create a world and translate something from a higher dimension that i couldn't put into words. the lyrics of this song and the beat work together to create something i fully stand by. sometimes i feel as though god communicated to me through this song without me even knowing. or maybe the devil. it depends on how you look at those concepts lol
