maybe 2 (feat. ali micháe and xovenus)

i sampled my song "maybe" from the william tape, one of my first projects. i'd hardly call it an album, or even a mixtape, but more of an exploration into how to make music. i'm still proud of those songs, especially maybe, and wanted to do something similar to mary. i wanted to call back to that little boy that made that song, and show him that there was value there. and create something new.

i wanted the beat to constantly morph and change, and feel like the end of the world in the coolest club you could be in. like blade runner but the whole world is crumbling. i thank ali and arianna for joining me on vocals at the end, as it really helped make that ending section feel like bittersweet finale. i think of this song as the ultimate evolution of everything i've ever been trying to make.
